His professional practice includes extensive experience in labor consulting and advisory, labor litigation, administrative and immigration proceedings. Carlos also has a particular focus on occupational health and safety matters, foreign hiring, disciplinary procedures for employment termination, labor audits, labor compliance, labor sports law issues, as well as administrative procedures before SUNAFIL.

He has been teaching assistant in the General Labor Law course and the Contracts course at the law school of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has also served as director of academic research at the Grupo de Estudios de la Organización Social y el Empleo (GEOSE), an association specialized in labor law, in which he has led and managed different academic events on the subject.
